Our Purpose: "To Know Jesus Christ and To Follow Him"

Living The Life of The Cross
​​We at Little Country Church are centered around the call TO KNOW JESUS CHRIST AND TO FOLLOW HIM. We recognize that Christ's call to know Him is a relational call. It involves receiving Him, but then also accepting His call to come and follow Him. When Jesus extended that radical call to His first disciples, it meant more than just "follow me around." No, it meant, "Come, be like me in your character (in holiness), and share in my mission (The Great Commission)." And that involves living the life of the cross and allowing the holiness He brings into our lives through the abiding presence of His Holy Spirit to lead us into perfect love of Him and, consequently, a perfect love for our fellow man. 

Being Anchored on God's Word
We also understand that only Jesus and His Word can bring the spiritual healing that our world so desperately needs. Only light can extinguish darkness, and He is the Light of the World (John 8:12). Therefore, we at Little Country Church seek to be a Church that is centered around knowing His Word and on showing people how they can bring the light of His presence into their lives and experience the full redemption that is offered to us in and through Christ Jesus.
